Awesome! Patience pays off! Totally agree on trying to gather information w/ binocs > trying to guess perfect the first time.

What a crazy fun night too.. sure you weren't hunting at the zoo?? haha.

didn't get an official weight on him. My 10 from last year weighed 196 lbs dressed, I would estimate he is around that mark or at least he felt heavy enough dragging him :D, that's all that matters

Awesome buck Mario! Were you worried about getting picked off being so high up in the tree or were you far enough back to have some decent cover? I feel like i stick out so much when I set up on the edge I'm cautious about going more than two sticks up a lot of times.

Stories like this make me absolutely jacked to get back into the marsh and get after it!
