Youth Hunt

Unread postby blizzardhunter » Sun Oct 23, 2016 8:37 am

We made our yearly trip to LBL for the youth hunt. It last all weekend but Olivia and I just stayed for one night. She got drawn but made the decision to just camp this year. I talked my brother into taking my nephew to where I took the kids last year. It paid off a little after daylight.

Those 3 boys drug the buck half a mileast in less than 30 minutes uphill all the way. I was impressed how good they did.

Olivia and I did a midday hike and a little scouting today.

And we ate good.

I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Every year as a kid we would go up for the youth hunt. Some of my favorite memories are from those trips. Glad I get to keep passing it along.
