Climbed the tree I picked out and was settled in at 2:30 pm.The wind was out of the north and I expected the buck to come out of the northwest following the water line. The rising water was about 20 yards west of my tree with wood ducks all around. Watched the ducks, a few squirrels and a couple of raccoons waiting for the late evening movement. I hadn't seen are heard any deer movement and legal shooting light had only 5 minutes left. Then I heard the sloshing footsteps and this guy gave me a 14 yard shot, recovered the the next morning, only made it 60 yards.
