Been a tuff year here in NC with the odd weather, rain and heat. Had to make a move as deer have been skirting our foidplots and normal haunts as if theyre a little more edgy this year with the odd weather and acorn crop thayve been a little harder to see. Anyway this.morning it was cool and I climbed up where three pine/oak transitions meet in hopes of catching them coming back to bed which was behind and upwind of my set. Good Lord blessed me and the plan came together, small 8 came through around 7:00 then this old girl around 7:15, with her in no way acting "hot" I decided to end the slump :)

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
