Short story is a buddy and I walked one of his properties on Monday so he could quickly show me the lay of the land and check out an area he hadn't been into yet this year.
Turns out we stumbled onto some good buck sign in a thick part of the property, so on Tuesday morning I went in bright and early with the Lone Wolf to hang and hunt the fresh sign.
Grunted this guy in from a field edge 100 yards away and he came on a string. Shot was solid liver so we had to give him some time, but in the end I was able to wrap my tag on my best buck to date.
