Youngster's gobbler

Unread postby Ridgerunner7 » Mon May 18, 2015 2:24 pm

I've been taking this young man hunting and fishing since he was 8. He has a major interest in it but unfortunately nobody in his family is familiar with the outdoors . Any way I try to get him out once or twice every year. Last year we got him his first turkey (jake) and his first buck. This year he killed his first tom.

Called 4 long beards into our lap running and gunning this afternoon. The entire hunt was 30 min start to finish so it was quick but exciting

Super, congrats to the young man.

I feel for the kids that haven't been brought into it at an early age. Props to you for taking the time to do so. Nice bird.
