Favorite hunt of the year

Unread postby Bucky » Thu Nov 27, 2014 5:19 pm

Took my son and daughter to a box blind... 15 min later we had 3 does and a fawn come through. It was exciting and the shot was true. The excitement in my kids voice reminds me of why I loved hunting so much as a kid and still do. If you can take a kid hunting... you won't regret it.

** Disclaimer** It is extremely difficult to keep a brother and sister quiet in a 6×6ft box

But, making them drag a deer a 100 yards really zaps their energy!

Congrats on a great hunt. Hunting with kids is the best.

Did they get in on the gut job? Always fun watching them their first few times.

You can't beat those moments! My first deer was a doe and I remember how excited I was. Their smiles say it all! :)
