So do you guys carry the ladder from spot to spot as needed when pushing areas? Mobile, only with a ladder instead of the LW?

Yea, he finished the day, then he was done... I can't blame him. He works 6pm to 6 am and has to work all this week. He was going on 24 hours with no sleep when we started driving Saturday morning, he looked pretty bad by the time we were done. Who knows, maybe after thanksgiving we can get him back out... Funny thing was when we were tracking the buck he was all worried about whether it was big enough... I know a coule of the guys in the group have not shot a buck in many years and will likely shoot the 1st one they see... Interesting to see Rat's different outlook.

We take stands too... But the big bucks generally avoid the areas with trees and stay in the brush or cattails so the ladder is generally where we get the shooting on a lot of spots. And where we do use stands, its generally longer shots into the cattaiuls and really high to see the deer.
