So just trying to understand your setup. Do you have an idea of where he was bedded? I would assume he was bedded in the cattail north and east of your stands. How far did he have to move in day light? I'm sure this is not a high pressure situation so you probably have more day time movement than on high pressure public land. Great deer!

Actually he was bedded in the bedding area in purple on the corner of the ditch in the SE corner. There are a couple of beds right around the bend on the ditch. I've had many deer over the years come from that area but i've always overhunted the two stands. Now i mainly hunt the stand that is on the ditch because it's so easy to get into and not leave much scent. The stand across the cattails on the point is the better stand IMO but i screw up so much by walking across. Now i only hunt that maybe a couple times a season and its usually during the rut if i sit all day.
