If this doesn't belong here, someone feel free to move it. I only saw deer, but thought I'd add this in....
A few weeks ago I headed to a close to the house stand to sit a quick morning sit. It's wasn't the best time, yet, but I usually don't hunt this area very much anyways. It's somewhat urban, even for my woods. Anyways, the first things I see are 3 coyotes bounding around. I've never been able to even get a shot at one with my bow, and now I potentially was going to get one. When the first one made it into range, I shot. I felt like I hit him, but I couldn't be sure. It never made a peep, but it busted into the brush pretty quickly. One of the others made its way over, and I had already knocked another arrow. When he stood still long enough, I let another one fly. This time, it sank all the way into him (not the ideal shot placement on a larger animal, but he wasn't that large!).
Anyways, he expired in a few seconds and then a doe shows up...lol. Well, she spooked the one I'd hit before up, and he was not in good shape. It was a pretty gruesome sight. She actually stomped and the seriously injured yote walked into the brush.
I went home to get the AR (for a finishing shot, if I got one), but I couldn't see him. Based on what I saw, though (I won't get into it, but it was pretty horrific), he wasn't going to make it long. I looked for a while, but I guess the deer pushed him into enough cover, I couldn't find his body.
Anyways, here's my first yote ever.

Nice looking yote. Congrats.
