public land 9
Back on Nov. 6th I was able to get this nice 2.5 9 point. I got alittle excited as he came right under me without getting a great look at him. Being that I was holding out for a 3.5 or better I was alittle disappointed with my quick trigger but it was still a great hunt and nice to have a plan come together. I still hunted all week and had 3.5plus in bow range no tag , alittle bit of phone video though that I did a bad job of taking. So all in all was a good public land hunt.

Good job on the dandy buck.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

His body looks pretty big based on how he is filling up up your Jon boat. How much did he weigh?
