Re: Dejavu Buck
Thanks guys.
I had a really rough start to this season, vehicles breaking down, ZERO deer sightings for over a month straight... Just really tough hunting. It is really nice to enjoy some success, doubt was really creeping in. I have really been fine tuning my hunting strategies about 5 years now and it is crazy to watch my efficiency sky rocket since I started, but anytime you have a prolonged dry spell you start to second guess and wonder if you really were just on a lucky streak. But this year so far has shown me that water finds it's level and the law of averages will prevail.
Believe me, midwest, one way or another is in the plans next year. Not sure which state(s) yet...
3rd buck and I haven't even uncased the rifle yet lol, I will probably get skunked rest of this year, but that's fine, I am more than happy at this point.
Thanks, it was nice to have my dad along for several reasons, one is that I have wanted that very picture for several years, tough one to get when you're alone...

Ha ha I just picture gators and snakes and big biting spiders etc...
I'll take coyotes and wolves over that any day. Or should I say night.

Re: Dejavu Buck
Classic shot with the black and white man! It would've been a 2 hand grab in water here in WI! Congrats!
