Thanks all it was a DIY private archery in Colorado hunting stands over water holes and seeps.The shot wasn't as good as it appears he was quartering away so the shot should have been back further.The shot still caught lung forward and did lethal damage.There was a bit of uncertainty with recovery after the first attempt after waiting 2 hours bumped him.But with an awesome track job by my nephew an the 2nd attempt now following spotty blood on his hand and knees in the dark led to the bull.We were able to get the bull out with a 4-wheeler as the stand was on a strip of aspen on the bottom of the mountain.
