2012 hunting video I made
A couple buddies and me spent quite a bit of time filming last year and I edited it into a DVD type format. It has 4 successful hunts so I figured the "kill zone" may be the place to put it. The DVD is posted in 7 clips that can be found on my youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/bigstickarc ... ture=watch. This is my first attempt with a full video and the camera equipment we have isn't very good, but I thought it was pretty cool overall so thought I'd see what the fellow "beasts" thought.

Checked it out. Nice job I would say.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

UPbowhunter I checked out your site and it looks like your a guy that knows something about filming hunts! Would you have any tips to tweak what we have for better footage, without the pro grade equipment? Would love better equipment but just a fun hobby for now.

Good stuff Bigbob! I noticed in 6 of 7 you were hunting Allamakee county, that is where I was born and raised. Plan on hunting it this year if I draw a tag.

Just out of curiosity what kind of video equipment are you using bigbob?
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Jackson marsh. Allamakee county, you got it. That was my second year hunting there, I love it. We saw over a half dozen nice bucks, mostly 2 yr olds, that we never got to get on camera for one reason or another. So that was disappointing but I still love hunting there and will be back next fall too.
Deerslayer. For cameras we had a couple of consumer Samsung camcorders and for late season I added a Drift Innovations 720HD that seems to take good footage, a lone wolf camera arm, and el cheapo tripods and window mounts. The editing program was Magix Movie Pro? not the best but functionable.
