That was one of the cool parts of this hunt. He made a big loop and came back towards the road. My GPS said I was .25 mile from my truck and I caught an old tote road so the drag was on flat ground. It don't get much easier than that!

Wow again. I still find it unbelievable how you are so consistant with tracking. Congrats on another beautiful buck!! Do you know of anyone else in Wisconsin that is as successful as you tracking? I really havent heard of any one else doing it around here.

There are a few out there doing it. I'm not sure of their success rate.
I know it sounds easy when I get one but there are many fruitless days where I end up miles from my truck at the end of the day. I remember one day where I didn't know if I'd be able to step up into my camper when I got back. There are many days where I track them for miles and never even catch up to them.
