MI 9pt Nov. 18 My biggest yet
I was fortunate enough to harvest this 9pt Sunday November 18 in the morning. He came in from behind me and I shot him at 10 yards.
This has been a rough, trying and very difficult season for me personally. I went into this season with very high hopes, having found and watched multiple shooter bucks this summer. I had hundreds of pictures and videos of bucks that were 3.5+ and so I was pumped. I had a game plan to hunt them hard but smart, I waited for the right conditions hunted the correct stands and I was seeing nothing. Not even does it was very disheartening. I began questioning my gameplan, my abilities, and whether EHD or another hunter had gotten them. However, with the help of my wife and my friends I was able to stay positive and more important stay after them. Despite getting that burned out feeling and being very tired from all the early mornings, I kept going out and hunting to the best of my abilities. Well as you can see below all the hardwork, persistance paid off with my biggest buck to date. You never know what is going to happen during the rut. The funny part is this isn't a buck I have any pictures of, however, my wife is 95% sure he is a buck she missed 3 weeks ago with her bow. So if it is the same one that is zero trail pics but 2 onstand encounters, which to me is pretty awesome.
He dressed at 190lbs, 18" spread, 130ish 9pt and I am tickled to death to have harvested him. I was also so fortunate to be able to share this with my family and friends and it was an absolutley gorgous day!!
He died in a Christmas Tree Farm this is where I found him

Good job on the nice buck.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
