Albino buck down!!!

Unread postby dan » Sat Nov 03, 2012 12:38 pm

Went hunting on Daves farm tonight... Bucks started coming out right around 4:00 (peak moon time) and one was feeding right underneath me, and another bigger (but still not a shooter) buck came out a little farther down... I know both these bucks, been seeing them a lot all season. Then something caught my eye at the edge of the brush field... It was an all white deer and it was heading straight for Dave! As the buck entered the slayer seed food plot Dave drilled it. The buck only made it about 50 yards and collapsed. We never saw this deer before, and believe it came here traveling looking for does. It is a 2 1/2 year old buck, but has a tiny rack for a deer that age.
Better pic's tomorrow...

Even with that small of a rack i would have to think about getting a body mount. Rare indeed!!

No.. I could just barely make out the deer... Could not even tell it was a buck at that distance. But I could certainly tell it was white.

Years ago we had a big white 10 pointer on the farm, but the 1st year it was legal, a guy up the road got him.
