2019 Doe Mount
I just got my Doe mount back last week and wanted to share w you guys.
She represents my first Doe that I regret not mounting. That deer was so pretty and bigger than most bucks. She also represents the bad 2019 season I had and she was the only bright spot.
She has busted me many times and iv let her walk many times. I had her at 30 yards in 2018 w her fawn during the rut. She locked up and would not move. She slithered out of there. Last year I was just getting my jacket on, looked up and she was at 10 yards broadside.
At first I wasnt happy. I need to move them to the main wall but I think this looks cool!

Very cool. Not something you see often but would be a unique addition. I always wanted to get a doe mounted but haven’t shot one for almost 15 years.

Id suggest taking one early. I think their early Oct coats are the best and my taxidermist agreed w that. Sometimes (like my first doe) they will still have some red, summer coat hairs.

The left or right buck? Either way thank you. Both were done by separate taxidermists. The Doe and Buck on the right are the same guy. I think he could improve his ears and eyes but he does a okay job and a okay price. The buck on the left was done by an expert

Extremely cool! Never considered mounting a doe but this changes my mindset a little bit.

I was thinking the one on the right. Now you mention, I can see Some of the difference. But still, did a nice job and made some unique poses
