SOME DAY I expect to need taxidermy service but so far have not sought out anyone. I'm going to start visiting or talking with some soon.
Anyone that is within 100 miles of ST Louis will be appreciated.

Long time lurker here but had to post! Midwest Taxidermy in Hardin, IL. Matt Baalman is a great guy. My dad and I have had nothing but great experiences using him. 1 (866) 396-2529

Thank you for the number. Hardin is a scenic motorcycle ride away, so I will contact him for sure.
I have even planned to hunt once or twice up that way.
Just found the Illinois Taxidermist Association site, he's a winner multiple times.

I see this is a post from May but since deer season isn't open in much of the country yet I will throw a plug for Heath Buie from Salem MO wich isn't far from St Loius, here is his website. http://scenicriverstaxidermy.com/ He did my Bison skull for me and did a very nice job.

Hardin, and Brighton, that is near my old stomping grounds-Wood River, IL. Was just down there last weekend. What side of the river you on?
