Great looking buck and mount.

Ya it was torn when I killed him. I assume he tore it fighting. I asked him to keep the split in his ear. Gives him character I think.

Cool, definitely good choice with the ear. If he's a fighter remember him that way. I caped one out last year that I was giving thought to shoulder mounting, but ended up just doing a euro because he has a noticeable bend in his nose bones I presume from fighting (well, that and I had one in already and $450 vs $0 was a compelling argument for the wife). He was also a little busted up, so it is kind of a cool way to remember him.
