Got the call

Unread postby Jackson Marsh » Thu Apr 10, 2014 1:24 pm

Jay Trudell called last week and I picked up my mount on Saturday. I am very happy how he turned out. Turn around time was quick, considering I dragged my feet on picking a form . I ended up selecting a semi-sneak with a right turn. Taxidermist Dave did a great job.

Thanks Jay for donating to the buck contest

If you live in SE Wisconsin I would highly recommend Trudell taxidermy.

It is interesting, I have four shoulder mounts, two Iowa bucks and two SE Wisconsin marsh bucks. The Iowa bucks both have a reddish coat, the marsh bucks are more of a gray color. All were rut kills, so maybe a regional difference? Anybody else notice color difference base on region?

I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.
