Really happy with both of them. I hope to keep getting better to where I can pass bucks of this caliber and shoot bigger ones that I know are in my hunting areas. Gearing myself to start eating tag soup though. :?

They look really nice. Tag soup is a tough thing to get used to I think, I have been struggling with the thought of it myself, but I think I have myself convinced to try it (with proper seasoning of course) and go for 3.5 or larger bucks though I always reserve the right to shoot a freak or unusual if they present themselves!

Very nice.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Same here Brad. The way I look at it too is that I got this far in my hunting career pre-Beast. Now, it's time to apply what I've been learning here and see where it gets me. 8-)
