My Euro Mount Display

Unread postby ttsbuck » Thu Feb 21, 2013 3:59 pm

My son Marshall did euro mounts on a couple of bucks he had. He asked me to come up with a display for them. So off to my friends wood pile we went. I was thinking of cedar but found a maple log that seemed about right for what I wanted to do. I cut the log to about 30 inches, sanded it with my angle grinder, coated it with some polyurethane and added some silk leaves. The picture doesn't show it real well but the log had really nice colors in it. Even the wife approved of the finished display.

Looks good. You have room to add to it and make a 360 degree display item. 8-)

Very nice.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
