Careful with those ez hooks. You cant cam lock and I’ve had the stand lift off the hook. I was way to close to falling.

Thanks - I use Todd Pringnitz tightening method in conjunction with the EZ hook and a third strap on the lower versa button. Locks super tight to the tree with no chance of the stand lifting off the hook either. I used the batwing for years - dont see me switching back to it anytime soon. Rock solid and super tight.

Here is a video of him going over how to get a Lone Wolf super tight to the tree. I've simply adapted his method with the EZ hook and I swear I get it just as tight to the tree with the EZ hook as I can with the batwing. Lone Wolf only ever instructed to use 2 straps using the EZ option, which left the lower part of the stand easy to kick out. I bring a 3rd strap, and once I have the top 2 straps done I set the 3rd and that stand will not move at all, period. So much easier using the EZ - dont have to hold the stand with one hand anymore and get the strap around tree at the same time.
