Wanted: Used digital camera for filming

Looking to get a used entry level video camera. Something fairly inexpensive. Don't mind if it's been used hard, as long as it still works good! Be nice to have the manual too.

Or just some info on decent ones to find on Craigslist, etc, and what price to pay.

Look for a Canon Vixia S200, M50 or M500. About $200 used. What you want is a CMOS Pro sensor. Next step up would be a Canon HF G10 or G20 for about $400-$500 used. This would get you a slightly better image and the ability to use a lanc remote which is a wired remote giving you the ability to start and stop recording, zoom and focus all with the use of just one of your thumbs. Lanc remotes are about $100-150. All of the above cameras can be equipped with a very simple but quality shotgun mic (Model Dm-100). This gives you the ability to greatly reduce wind noise and get better quality and further reaching audio. Can be found used for $75.

What you want in a camera is:
Decent image
Decent low light picture
Manual focus ability.
