I’d suggest buying a rock climbing harness and make a hammock style seat. You could have a full set up for $75 or less. I’ve saddle hunted exclusively since 2007. I have an original Tree Saddle and a Guido’s Web, but I’ve hunted from the RC harness and hammock seat for almost 2 seasons now and love the set up for its comfort and packability. Agreed I hunt almost exclusively from a rock climbing harness and a sit and drag. Cost around 90 bucks with rope and biners included. Cheapest way to get into a saddle.
