Just curious if anyone bought any of this stuff?
Does anyone know if that's a 8.5# assault?

not sure of the weight on that on but I do know it's the one where the seat bites into the tree and not the v bracket like the 8.5 has on it.
8.5 has a v bracket like the sticks and also has 3 holes for leveling where u have to unscrew it to pick the level u want it at instead of how the newer ones u loosen and slide.

That's one of the original LW Alphas....not an Assault. They were light though.

Tgreeno, we must look at Craigslist on the same schedule. I was about to post these when I saw you had. Do you live in the Appleton area?

I had one of the originals. It weighed 10 lbs on the head I think. Sure didn't feel like it though, more like 5.

I'm thinking about buying this original. Why did you get rid of yours? Why shouldn't I ?

It had a lot of sharp edges on the casting, I cut myself several times. It also didn't have an adjustable platform.
