Wifes scale.....no batteries. What ever happened to the old fashioned scales without batteries?
Muddy's stand weighs same as mine when hanging on to both in my hands. The stands (and one strap) seem to weigh about the same as 3 sticks with straps.
Will get batteries on run to town today.

No, if I stepped on that plastic piece of crap scale it would be in two pieces.

Hodag, Your avatar would suggest you have a fish weighing scale? That would be more accurate than a bathroom scale.

Ha ha you're right. I will dig it up tonight.
Bought new batteries last night and stupid bathroom scale didn't work. Went to throw it away and missed the garbage can lid and it bounced back and hit my toe. Darn thing is cursed or mad at me for standing on it too many times. Lol

Re: want to trade my Assault
Ok, using my spring scale that weighs fish up to 50 lbs.
My old assault and Muddy's are the same weight with one strap each, cushion seat and stock back pack straps. Real close to 12 lbs.
3 sticks bungeed together and 3 straps. 11 lbs.
Please remember this is a spring scale designed for larger fish....30 to 50 lbs but does show 1 lb increments from zero to 50.
I would be safe to say they aren't 8.5 pounds but could be 11.
