Wtb: Milkweed seeds
Anyone have any they want to sell? I am going to try to locate some this fall but would like to buy some and go ahead and watch how the wind is working around the terrain I hunt around.
Thanks

I would send you some for free, but they aren't ready yet.

I tried cotton balls once but they dropped like rocks......

There is a national project for monarch butterfly conservation, which includes planting milkweed all over the place. More info here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/120 ... 150611.zip

Re: Wtb: Milkweed seeds
My flowerbed has milkweed that I tried killing in the past. This year it will give me a full season of wind checkers. As of today the smaller pods are browning and the large pods are still green.

Re: Wtb: Milkweed seeds
They seem to have been behind in growth around here this year, but they look fully grown around here now and there seems to be a lot more than usual. They are everywhere this year and ten mile drive will take you past thousands of plants.

Re: Wtb: Milkweed seeds
I haven't seen an abundant amount lately, but the few I've spotted I'm keeping my eye on for them to slightly open before I harvest them.
