brown pair is usmc issue irregular no gortex with drain holes. Some wear but not much. Very stout built boot.
black pair is gortex very little wear and some mud.
both are about 10" high and uninsulated. laces & mud included...
both have had sno-seal treatment.
just a tad tight for me.
