Newbe needs help

Unread postby todd wylie » Sun Oct 19, 2014 4:23 pm

This is my first year bow hunting, i got a ready to shoot bow. the problem is my stabilizer is just a 3 inch one. I am having issues keeping steady. i was told i should have like a 8 inch one. I am a poor family man and can't afford the $80 for one. Dose any one have a extra one they can donate to me?

Last year I shot half of the season with a 10" Doinker Dish and I don't think it helped me much at all. Plus, it was really annoying carrying my bow with it because it added extra weight and was cumbersome. I no longer use a stabilizer and I probably won't go back.

Practice more and the issue should be resolved... You probably have a bow that don't fit you perfect.

I took mine apart to make a smaller one, I think in a hunting situation it doesn't matter much

Try taking it off. Sometimes they hurt more than help. If you still need one, trophy ridge makes an 8 inch stab with adjustable weights and comes with a wrist sling for $40.

I hear that b-STINGER has helped reset archery record books in competition. They must do something for accuracy but don't look for a easy way to success. Practice is free.
