hybrid poplars
I have a bunch of hybrid poplar cuttings . You can have about as many as you want. I just cut about 50 of them. They grow about 4-8' per year. Just plant them and water them like crazy. A 5 gal. bucket of water with some fileted fish will make them grow like crazy. Just have them for free. My number is 1-262-510-9899.

I am located in Allenton Wi. The deer don't so much as touch them though. Then 20' away there are maples they bite the heck out of. Go figure. This is in Washington co. Wi though. In Shawano county we planted 1,000 or so and ya couldn't get them going cause the deer went nuts on them.

I had one I planted that was 2' high. I watered it and gave it chicken poop. It grew 3'6" that year. The next year , in 2010 it rained like crazy and I gave it more dead fish and chicken manure. It gre 13' that year. It can make a nice yard tree but watch out, in 20 years you have a big tree that needs to come down.
