I used one of those about 15 years ago. Great stand to carry.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Re: Loc on 7.5lbs
Brings back memories. I had one of these many years ago and it was very light on the back. The seat tube needs some padding so what I did was add a piece of the round foam pipe insulation from the hardware store. Problem solved, cheap fix and a huge difference in comfort.

Re: Loc on 7.5lbs
I packed 3 lw sticks and the treestand and hung it out back one day the 7.5 lbs is super light to hang. I definitely agree with putting some padding in the front bar. I am only selling this bc someone posted a custom turkey box call that I "need". Its a cool little stand and I hope I figure a way to keep.it:)

I would say you did ok for that price. I sold mine for about $50.00 ten years ago.

Custom box call? Turkey gear? I thought you were moving to Hawaii? Not exactly a good turkey state...

Wonder if I could find a light seat that straps to a tree that I could use with my assassin.

Could you add a seat tube & assault seat or is the platform to short?

Re: Loc on 7.5lbs
LW made an Assassin platform to use as a footrest with saddle type stands. I believe it's a little smaller than the windwalker platform. I always wonder if it had enough room on it to convert it into a regular stand. It appears simple to add a seat tube & seat, but I think the platform maybe a little short.
