beaver

Unread postby magicman54494 » Sun Jan 16, 2011 8:44 am

I spent a few days in northern Wis with a good friend this week. We did some ice fishing and bobcat scouting. He had some beaver traps out and we checked them as well. He had some success and caught 1 beaver while I was there.

Very cool I just got back from a weekend of doing the same. We had something much bigger than a yote step in a trap with a drag and get out sometime during fridays snowstorm. The trap was mangled and is no longer usable. My buddies swear it was a yote but I'm not so sure. Calling coyotes sucked and the ice fishing was mediocre but spending time on a trapline is always awesome IMO. Nice pics magic!
