Darwin award :?

I know he probably had to, but using a 4ft reach on an animal that size and unfatigued is probably pretty dangerous! Didn't look like the old lady was much of a weapon handler either! I think I would have sent her in to free it from the trap while I stayed back with the rifle! :P

Thats what I was thinking, if there was an attack at release 50/50 odds whether she shot the wolf or the dude. Maybe both.

Cool video. Not sure if those people had more guts than me, or less brains?
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Just throw a blanket over him and step the trap open and walk away. He made it a lot harder than he had to.

Too bad he didn't have a wolf tag. At least that helps increase there fear of humans. I wouldn't have been too happy about having that lady back me up with a gun!

My redbone was going nutz while I watched the video. I have encountered a few while hunting the u.p. make the hair on my neck standup! To bad he didn't have a tag would have made a sweet mount.

Pretty crazy!!

That very well could have been a mauling and I don't think the girl with the gun would have been much help. The weapon hanging on her shoulder won't do much good!

Glad it turned out fine and they got a great video!!
