That’s a good one Bigburner. Love the mass. 8-)

Curious what the circumference is at the base? Looks massive. :o

Went on a short walk at lunch today in a city park that is FULL of deer. On the drive back to the office I made it about 200 yards down the road before I spotted this guy. There were 5-6 other small bucks around him and all of the bucks still had their head gear too. Granted, these are virtually stress free "city deer". I know he (and the others) just travel in a big circle around this little area of town. I would love to find his antlers up in one of the public areas.

You can tell he's big, but this picture doesn't do him justice. He's an absolute stud in both body and rack size.

Here's a short video I took where you can tell his actual size a little better

Posted this one in my thread in the scouting section. Found it in a bed today. Surely there’s some kind of award for this one. :D

That would be one of the harder ones to find. To find a piece like that would be a challange.

Saturday was a slow day but here's some finds. A lot of bedding in this particular area and I'm not even halfway done with it. After pulling cam from there I can say ill be spending another full day or 2 in there :o

Roommate had a great find on one of his spots. I'm sure someone is wondering what ever happened to the buck.

Put in about 7 miles total between saturday and sunday on public. On my way back to the truck yesterday I saw something black on the edge of a cut bean field about 100 yards away. I glassed it, can couldnt tell what it was, so I walked over and it was a beanie hat someone had dropped. When I was walking back to the path I spotted this shed. I had walked within about 8-10 yards of this thing the first time past and never saw it.

I jumped 3 bucks earlier in the day Sunday that were bedded in the timber about 20 yards downwind of the field edge I was walking, and all 3 were still holding both sides. Seems to be a slow start in this area this year.

Mr. Lehey wrote:Anyone have trail cams out in Wisconsin still? A guy at work says most deer are still holding but I don’t put a lot of stock into what he says, he’s not the most trustworthy.

It's a mix , some dont have any alot dropped 1 antler and some still have both but right now would be a good time to start

Found a few today. All older. But what was interesting is I think I found the left side of the monster one I found last Wednesday. But from the year before. I gave it a quick scrub to get the algae of it.
The shape and nature of it looks way to similar. I found them within about 300 yards of one another. I was out today looking for the match to the big one. I think I found it just not the same year. Still a really nice one in its own regard.

alot of deer still holding in southwest ontario , I have had some luck so far , alot of known good spots have been walked by others , but its still early and hopefully with this weather coming this weekend. Hopefully more will drop. Does anyone ever much success in the fall hunting areas where they find sheds ? . I tend to notice alot of deer heard up in area around food and usually throw the best bedding areas out the window. Has anyone else noticed this pattern ?
