Found my favorite shed to date yesterday
I finally got some time to go out, as my time is very limited, and it paid off with my most unique shed so far. I spotted it from about fifty yards away, and thought that it was two small sheds laying next to/on top of one another. As I got closer, it dawned on me that it was one antler, with double main beams. I was pretty stoked. That find gave me the energy to search some more, and I found a small ten point dead head, along with the main beam of what would have been a very nice 5 point with a nice sticker point coming off of the base. It would have been nice to find before the mice got to it, to see what it looked like in all of it's glory. On the bright side, the mice hollowed out the main beam, which also gives it a unique look, and a memory that I will relive every time I look at it. , , ,

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

We have a forked G2 trait in our area that shows up frequently, but that really isn't a forked G2 cause it also has the brow tine on it.
I guess you would call it a double main beam then.
Very odd & Very cool!

Looks like a good day. That old one looks like it was a serious hunk of bone at one time.
