I don't believe so but I do see some similarities.

Both sets were found .85 mile apart.

I wouldnt rule it out, very similar looking to me

It's funny because until you pointed that out I never even considered that but now it has me really thinking.

Here they are side by side for reference. Last weeks sheds on the left. Exactly 2 years apart.

I would expect much more growth after two years but who knows? Some bucks max out early and never really get much bigger and only add mass and sticker points which this one has.

Man it sure could be the same buck. Beams thickened and lengthened, added a split....not too much different

Awesome finds, Dewey 8-)

My vote is that's the same buck.

I would say it’s the same buck. Same frame. Hints of future G2 splits in the old set. Brows have similar shaping just enlarged in the recent set. Some bucks just don’t have the genetics to have incremental growth through the years. Some have weird peaks in their antler growth. They’re just all so different and that’s what I love about them.

I found this buck during the ‘17 season (right). Did not find a hint of him in the ‘18 season in that area. Caught him on camera roughly 3 miles away this past season. He looks no different to me after 2 years. Still a super solid 8.

IMHO, there's a very good chance they are from the same buck - they are so similar. Either way, you are one lucky Man - finding both pairs of matched sheds two years apart is awesome!

I was telling Jackson Marsh earlier today if this is indeed the same buck I better go buy a lottery ticket because the odds of finding a matched set from a single buck TWICE in a big marsh is almost impossible.

Great find! Nothing like finding a matched set to kick your motivation into high gear for the 2020 season. I'd have to agree with others that there is a good chance it's from the same buck.

I found a nice one early this year and after about 30hrs of walking and with a little snow melting I found the match. The second one was about 100yds away from the first.

Cool. 8-)

I found mine 20 minutes in and walked over 25 hrs since and haven't found another. Most times I go years without finding a shed in marshes. Extremely hard to find any unlike wooded terrain where they easily stick out.

I did find this little guy right next to the big sheds at the same time. He must be a young apprentice tagging along.
