Welcome to the 2013 Shed Thread!

Post your finds, stories, and pictures here. Dead heads are welcome too!

For those that signed up, your username is listed below. There will be a count tally next to your username and will be updated as you post your finds.


Anyone who is not on the list, you can still post your finds in this thread - your finds will contribute to the final count.

At the end of the season, we will add up the total. Have fun and good luck out there!

I got a handful already... been lazy posting. 15 miles walked so far this month

Tom's antler is going to be a tuff one to top though! Awesome shed

Did you put a tapemeasure on that shed Tom?

Bucky: Do you think they are all shed out where you are at? Thats nice bone.

Cant wait for tomorrow sounds like my dad and I are going to get to hang out by ourselves which hasnt happened in a looooong time. Looking forward to it. :D

Not all, but seems ahead of schedule. I will be walking 2-3hrs tomorrow and again Sunday

A little early yet in my neck of the woods. Walked 3 hours today, good travel routes and food sources at plenty. No sheds.

BigHills BuckHunter sent me these on his search this morning. 1/12/13
Dead head - half rack with bullet hole in the neck.

I pulled the antler off his head and cut my thumb up pretty good in the process. :oops:

Didnt find any sheds but there is a lot of buck sign and tracks. They are pounding that standing corn. Good luck on that other property Darin.

Took my wife out today to our lease and found one, didnt cover very much ground moree or less just getting out for an hour...nice 6 point side to a future stud
