shed repair

Unread postby BigHills BuckHunter » Tue Mar 06, 2012 1:36 pm

I have a really big shed I found two years ago, the biggest one I have ever found but it has alot of mice chews on it. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone who could do shed repair for me? How much does it cost in general?

You might be able to do it yourself , order some epoxy sculpt and drill a hole in the damaged area and insert a wire, then just super glue the wire into place. Then just take the epoxy sculpt and roll it like a worm and fill in the damaged area and smooth it out, draw in any grooves to make it look like it was never chewed on, and then let dry. Once its done just stain it back to original color and your all done.

Thanks for the advice but this shed means alot to me and the buck it came from means alot to me. I want it to look as good as it can possibly look. Im willing to put money into it to have someone do it for me that is really good at it. 8-)

My taxi man fixes broken antlers. You might check out a taxi man around you.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I agree with Stanley, if it means that much to you take it to a good taxidemist, and they should be able to fix it up nicely. If you have pics of it on the buck even better, bring them along.

What city are you in or near and how far would you be willing to drive to get it fixed?

I live about 40 miles north of Lacrosse, WI and I would be willing to spend about 2 hours of driving to get it to a guy who knows what he is doing.

O.k. thanks. I'll see if I can come up with some names of people that could do a good job and get back to you.
