Tree rats are good eaters.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Yep! I,v thought about placing one of my sheds in a cage or something. Just to see how long it would actually take to get chewed up completely.

i usually have 2 or 3 sheds in the back yard that the dog chews on and the tree rats are always chewing them up so now they have there own up in the tree. over one summer they can chew an antler to almost nothing.

Where I'm hunting the porkies are thicker than the squirrells so if you want a shed you'd better follow the buck and pick up the shed as soon as it drops.
