Wondering if any beasts have gotten on the ice yet. Is there even any ice in your areas at all? It has been a weird year with the strong El Nino dominating the weather the last few months in the upper midwest.
A year ago today my local lake here in west-central WI had 10 inches of hard water, and there is maybe an inch out there as I type this, but will probably be gone by the end of the week. I read there was about 4 inches of ice in extreme northern Minnesota recently. Im kinda doubting there will be any fishable ice this winter.
Ice?

Re: Ice?
Not a good year for ice but us upper Midwest guys are smiling because the deer are getting a break, we are still years away from a recovery so anything to help the herd is good for me.
