Magicman and I are meeting up today to chase some fish, should be a heck of a good time. I will try and get some pictures and post the results when I return!

very jealous here... I would love to be headed north to go ice fishing right now. Too many other priorities for me today, but soon!

 Warning to all beasts: Don't let Magic pick out the fishing spot!
We hit a lake that I have done well on in the past but yesterday we laid a big egg on the ice.
Brad did run and get some minnows for tipups because we saw many others having success with tipups for northerns. This was our big catch of the day.

It was great meeting Brad and though the fish didn't cooperate I enjoyed spending the day getting to know Brad.
Let's do it again..... but you'll have to pick the spot if you want to catch something.

It was an awesome day on the ice, fish cooperating or no. I also had a blast meeting you Todd, and getting to learn some more about tracking deer and your hunts. It sounds like the fishing was pretty slow everywhere, not just where we were. I am game to go out again, and in all fairness we marked a lot of fish, and even had a lot come to the bait but just would not commit. I always enjoy trying new spots, and the pike was just a bonus!

Still did better than me.....I worked all day until 10 at night and back in the office right now. :(

I would fish any day and not catch jack instead of working.

Dang fish don't leave tracks!
A day on the ice with friends is better than sitting in the house watching TV regardless of the catch.... 8-)

Sounds like you had fun. Fishing has been poor here also.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
