that's unbelievable! amazing to see how he built everything from scratch with such few tools. the cabin, the spoon, tables, door hinges w/lock, his refrigerator that was 40 degrees when it was 80 outside, the meat cache, smoker house, the sled. Richard P. is the man :D To top it off he stayed an extra 35 years. That would be cool to visit his cabin some day

They run that show once in a while on PBS. I enjoy watching it every time it comes on.

One question though....... how did he keep the camera running ? Didn't they run on batteries back then ? How did he charge it ?

Very cool show, I would love to do that myself. No buildings, no crime, no financial headaches, that would be a perfect life!
