If your hunting with dogs in a area with wolves, whether its a high or low population area, your taking that risk. Same with bears or yotes, I've known a lot of houndsmen who have lost beagles to yotes down here in the lower peninsula where they are hunted and trapped 6 months out of the year.

I see numerous reasons why wolf population should be controlled but have yet to hear any logic behind why there are once again put on the protected list here in MI. Maybe I'm missing something? Maybe its because the members and supporters of these anti hunting organizations don't have to live in areas where the wolves effect there everyday lives?
