Buddy and I spent about 1 1/2 hours tonight, 6 geese and 8 mallards. Deer are on back burner, maybe even in deep freezer.

Very nice. Those pretty late season birds are a true trophy.

No, but while we were packing up we had geese trying to land on us, one group went by about 10 yards away and we saw a band. Last night we went out and had one group work us and they came in off kilter so instead of dumping 6 or 8 we dumped 2, one was banded. Kinda neat.

Muddy, what state are you in? Our season in WI is closed now, and my bird buddies and I are trying to figure out a place for a late season road trip!

We only use goose decoys, duck season closes tomorrow anyway. You might consider even further south?
