I used to do quite a bit of frogging with the bow. Picture of a limit we got one evening after work. This was about 30 years ago.

Frogging is my favorite summer time activity, with a recurve and some judo points or knee deep in muck with my hands.

When I was a kid I would capture this wary beast and stick firecrackers in their mouths - that's my experience (not so nice, but kids play)

I had frog legs once. Taste just like chicken. But you do have to have a bunch of them. Yummy.

Use to catch a lot of grass frogs and use them for Bass/pike bait. Caught a few dogfish on them also. Have did the bull frog gig at night with a light.

Love frogs legs,I haven't been in a few years though.A neighbor of mine(passed away 3 years ago now he was 95) was a big time hunter. He has been all over the US hunting and also quite a few times to Newfoundland. He said his and his wife's favorite was frogs legs. Before he passed he had me come over and gave me his frog rifle( a old 22 targetmaster Remington shortened stock and barrel)and his gigging poles and asked me to get him some frog legs.I said for sure.I never did it but went with a friend and we ended up with 30-40 big bulls.I got back and cleaned them for him.He was in heaven.I still have his 22 and the gigging poles. And a new kayak so I think I will go out for a meal for Bob.Great guy really miss him
