did you see the story a week or so ago of a cougar killed on Connecticut!
they did dna testing and it had traveled for sure over 1500 miles from the Black Hills.
Kinda ironic after they declared the "eastern" cougar extinct a few months back.

That same cougar traveled through WI.
They claim he was probably searching for a mate and kept traveling east. Gives a new meaning to "looking for love in all the wrong places"
