Just confirmed it today, my wife and i are headed just north of craig colorado sept 10-13th for a bull elk muzzle loader hunt. I cant wait!! :D :D

congrats, supposed to be a lot of elk there, and to get a MZ tag for bugle season should increase your odds of getting one. Good luck

Thanks, my wife was a little unsure about using a muzzleloader with open sights, but i told her we would practice alot and its a pretty big target!

Good question...Let me tell you the thin air will kick your but if your not in shape. If your doing any kind of hiking and packing out do yourself a favor and get in shape. It will make the hunt that much enjoyable if you can't get to where you want to go w/o stopping for air all the time you will get frustrated quick.

I havent done any hunt specific exercise yet. My wife works out 3 days a work week on lunch, and its basketball season now so im sorta staying in shape :D Our final biggest tournament is coming up next week though and i will have to start doing something else. cant wait :lol:
