I got a kick out of how after donating $10 they ask you for a donation... Did anyone else notice that?

I didn't apply. After all the hoopla last year the appeal of drawing an elk tag doesn't excite me anymore. Last thing I want is media coverage and interviews on my hunt like everyone last year. Just not my thing. Maybe someday when many more tags are drawn and there is much less attention I will apply again.

Have 40 acres right down the road from clam lake. Applied last year but didn't this year due to a one and done. At least give the preference point...kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Let's get to managing the wolves first.

Preference point makes little sense when there are so many applying and so few tags given. I applied, don't know much about last years hunts. Hope the herd keeps growing.
